My Approach
Grief is the natural response to loss.
Whether you are grieving a relationship, part of yourself, a life transition, a treasured item or the death of someone deeply important to you. Grief can feel all-consuming. When every part of your being becomes orientated towards the loss, it can be overwhelming, isolating, confusing and exhausting.
I offer a compassionate space where we can gently work towards a more restorative, grounded place at a pace that honours your experience. Through empathy, patience, genuineness, calmness and non-judgement, I support you in navigating your unique journey.
Together, we can explore:
The different effects and expressions of grief
Talking through emotions safely and openly
Understanding your emotional, physical, social, cultural and cognitive responses
Techniques and strategies that align with who you are
Challenging unhelpful or unwanted thought patterns
Integrating your experience of loss into your life in a meaningful way
Accessing additional resources, support groups or specialist services if required
Sometimes the pain of losing someone or something becomes a turning point — a catalyst for understanding, growth, new experiences, transformation and moving forward. With specialist support that meets you exactly where you are, you can begin to weave both the loss and recovery into the fabric of your life in a way that honours your story.
